Boy, 11, Hurt in Crash With Police Cruiser on Main St in Northborough, MA

Northborough, MA (August 25, 2026) – An 11-year-old boy was taken to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, August 25, after a Northborough Police cruiser struck his bicycle near the intersection of Main and River streets.

Northborough Police said the collision happened around 3:15 p.m. as the cruiser was exiting a parking lot on Main Street. The boy's injuries are believed to be minor. Northborough Fire also took the officer to a local hospital as a precaution.
