Brockton, MA – One Dead After House Fire on Glendale Ave

According to the Brockton Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. to a reported building fire at 80 Glendale Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions on the second floor of the home.

As crews stretched hose lines and worked to control the blaze, they found that the fire had fully engulfed the second floor, including the hallway and multiple bedrooms. During suppression efforts, firefighters located a victim inside the home who had succumbed to thermal injuries.
