Head-On Crash Leaves Two Injured on Rte 20 in Northborough, MA

Northborough, MA (August 12, 2026) – Two people were injured on Tuesday afternoon, August 11, after a serious head-on crash on Route 20 in Northborough.

The collision occurred near the Northborough Police Station on Main Street, where Route 20 was closed following the crash. According to Northborough Fire, one driver had to be extricated from a vehicle using the Jaws of Life.

Two patients were transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center's Level 1 Trauma Center for treatment. One of the patients suffered serious injuries, while additional information about the other person's condition was not immediately available.
