Hit-and-Run Leaves Pedestrian Seriously Hurt at at Harvard St in Medford, MA

Medford, MA (August 26, 2026) – A vehicle struck and injured a pedestrian at Harvard and Winchester streets in Medford on Wednesday morning, August 26. The vehicle fled the scene after striking the pedestrian. 

The Medford Police Department said the crash happened around 5:20 a.m. The pedestrian was walking westbound on Harvard Street and crossing Winchester Street in a crosswalk when a dark-colored, four-door sedan struck them while turning left from Harvard Street onto Winchester Street.

The injured person was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for the vehicle and driver involved.
