Sandwich, MA (August 10, 2026) – A man died on Sunday night, August 9, after a head-on collision involving a Toyota Prius and a Toyota RAV-4 near 87 Farmersville Road in Sandwich. Police were called at about 8:50 p.m. after the two vehicles collided.

The Prius was traveling west on Farmersville Road, while the Rav-4 was heading east. Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the collision.

The Prius driver was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries. Three people traveling in the Rav-4 were also taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
