Medway, MA – Postal Worker Seriously Injured in Rollover Crash on Main St

April 11, 2026
Medway, MA (April 11, 2026) – A postal worker suffered serious injuries on Friday, April 10, after a rollover crash at 30 Main Street in Medway.

According to officials, a pickup truck struck a postal delivery vehicle while the postal worker was completing her delivery route. The force of the impact caused the postal truck to roll over.

The postal worker was ejected from the vehicle and found trapped beneath it when officers arrived. Emergency crews stabilized the vehicle and freed her from underneath. She was airlifted to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with serious injuries.

The pickup truck driver was also taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center by ground ambulance for further evaluation. Investigators reported that speed does not appear to have been a factor in the crash.

The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.

We wish the injured individuals a full and swift recovery.

Compensation Available After a Truck Accident in Massachusetts

Victims of serious truck accidents in Massachusetts may be eligible to seek compensation depending on the circumstances. Medical costs, lost income, and other losses may be recoverable through a personal injury claim.

Medical expenses are often the most immediate concern after a serious crash. Hospital stays, surgeries, imaging, and follow-up care can add up quickly. Injured victims may be able to seek compensation for both current and future medical costs connected to the accident.

A serious injury can prevent someone from returning to work for days, weeks, or longer. Lost wages during recovery may be included in a personal injury claim. In some cases, reduced earning capacity over time may also factor into the total damages sought.

Beyond financial losses, injured victims may experience lasting physical pain that affects their daily lives. Pain and suffering damages recognize the physical toll a crash places on a person’s body. These damages are separate from economic losses and vary case by case.

A traumatic crash can leave emotional effects that persist long after physical wounds heal. Anxiety, difficulty sleeping, and changes in daily functioning are examples of mental impact that may be addressed in a claim. These non-economic losses can carry real weight in the claims process.

Damage to a vehicle or personal belongings is another recoverable loss in many accident cases. Repair costs or the value of a totaled vehicle may be included when calculating total damages. Keeping records of repair estimates and replacement costs can support this part of a claim.

Insurance companies often review claims closely and may dispute the extent of damages or liability. Adjusters may offer settlements that do not fully reflect the losses involved. Understanding how insurance companies handle claims can help injured victims respond effectively.

Speaking with a personal injury lawyer can help protect your rights and determine liability after a truck accident. An attorney can guide you through the claims process and handle communication with insurance companies.
