One Injured After Crash on Broadway in Saugus, MA

Saugus, MA (July 31, 2026) – One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle collision on Thursday night, July 30, on Broadway that left an occupant trapped inside their car.

As reported by the Saugus Fire, emergency units responded to the 1500 block of Broadway around 9:44 p.m. When crews arrived, they found one person still inside the vehicle, along with two others outside of it.

Emergency units worked to free the trapped occupant, who was freed and evaluated on scene by 10:08 p.m. That person was later taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment.

Emergency crews continue to piece together the sequence of events leading up to the wreck.
