Rhode Island Man Killed in Collision on Rte 146 S in Uxbridge, MA

Uxbridge, MA (August 2, 2026) – A Rhode Island man died after being ejected from his vehicle during a two-car crash in Uxbridge on Saturday night, August 1.

As reported by the Massachusetts State Police, the collision occurred around 10:48 p.m. on the southbound side of Route 146. The driver of a Honda Accord, a 26-year-old Rhode Island man whose identity has not been released, was thrown from the vehicle during the crash.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The driver and a passenger in the second vehicle, a Tesla, were also taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The incident is still being investigated.
