Can I File a Claim If My Child Was Hurt in a Scooter Crash in Haverhill, MA?
If your child was hurt in a scooter crash in Haverhill, you may be able to file a claim on their behalf. The claim may cover medical bills, follow-up care, missed school needs, and other losses tied to the injury.
When a crash involves a school bus, the claim may require a closer look at who owned the bus, who operated it, and what happened before impact. A lawyer can help review those details and explain what options may be available.
After your child receives medical care, keep every record from the hospital and follow-up visits. Discharge papers, test results, treatment plans, and bills can help show what care was needed. These records may also help explain future medical needs.
Before you speak with an insurance company, write down what you remember about the crash. Photos, witness names, school records, and medical paperwork can help create a clearer timeline. Keeping everything together can make the process easier to follow.
Because Haverhill has busy roads like Main Street, Broadway, River Street, and Route 125, scooter riders can face serious risks around traffic. Roads near I-495 also carry local drivers, commuters, buses, and larger vehicles throughout the day.
While every case is different, a child injury claim may involve medical costs, therapy needs, pain, and long-term effects. Massachusetts law may also affect who can bring the claim and how deadlines apply.
If your child was injured in a scooter crash, having support can help you better understand your options and stay organized. A
personal injury lawyer can review records, explain the claim process, and help you focus on your child’s recovery.
