Saugus, MA (July 25, 2026) – A 17-year-old scooter rider was seriously injured after being struck by a motor vehicle on Adams Avenue in Saugus on Friday, July 24.

Authorities said the teenager was riding a scooter when the collision occurred. Officers at the scene provided initial aid before the fire and EMS personnel arrived to assist. The teen was conscious while being prepared for transport to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment of serious head and torso injuries.
