Tractor-Trailer Involved in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-93 in Canton, MA

Canton, MA (August 12, 2026) – Three adults suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries on Monday night, August 10, after a multi-vehicle crash involving three cars and a tractor-trailer on Route 93 North in Canton.

The crash happened at approximately 9 p.m. near the 1.6-mile marker. According to Massachusetts State Police, a car attempting to merge onto I-93 lost control and struck another vehicle, which rolled over before sliding into a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer also overturned.

Three adults were transported to local hospitals with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The left travel lane remained partially open while the middle and right lanes were closed during the response. 

Troopers stayed at the scene for nearly two hours, and all lanes reopened at approximately 11 p.m.
