Truck Strikes Motorcycle on Mattapoisett Rd in Acushnet, MA

Acushnet, MA (July 31, 2026) – A motorcyclist was injured after a commercial truck struck the motorcycle on Mattapoisett Road near Mendall Road on Friday morning, July 31. 

The crash happened around 10:31 a.m. and involved a 2021 Ford F-550 truck carrying a commercial registration. The Acushnet Fire and emergency units were sent to the scene to help those involved.

Medics treated the motorcyclist and took them to St. Luke's Hospital by 10:55 a.m. The full extent of the injuries has not been confirmed.

Investigators are still examining the exact sequence of events leading up to the crash.
