Boston, MA (July 25, 2026) – Two firefighters were injured while responding to a large residential fire at a vacant three-family home on Savin Hill Avenue in Boston on Saturday morning, July 25.

Fire crews were called to the property around 10:30 a.m. after a large fire broke out. Officials said the flames damaged the rear porches and interior rear stairs of the structure. A third-alarm response was requested to help prevent the fire from spreading to nearby homes, bringing approximately 100 firefighters to the scene.
