Two Injured in Mill St Crash in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA

Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA (July 31, 2026) – Two people were hurt, one seriously, early Friday morning, July 31, when their vehicle burst into flames on Mill Street.

The fire broke out around 12:40 a.m. in the coastal North Shore town. One person was initially trapped inside the burning vehicle, but both occupants managed to get out before emergency units arrived.

When Manchester Fire reached the scene, they found the two people outside the vehicle. One had significant injuries, officials said. The extent of the second person's injuries was not confirmed.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
