Two Seriously Hurt in Crash on Bedford St in Lakeville, MA

Lakeville, MA (July 31, 2026) – Two people were seriously hurt on Thursday afternoon, July 30, in a collision near Pond Cemetery on Bedford Street.

As reported by the Lakeville Fire, the wreck happened shortly after 2 p.m., in the area of the cemetery. A man in the vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. A woman also sustained serious injuries but is expected to survive.

Both were taken to St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford for treatment. Authorities have not yet released information about what led to the collision.

Investigators are working to piece together the events that preceded the crash.
