Update: Motorcycle Dies After Being Involved in Crash on Rte 138 in Raynham, MA

On Sunday night, August 23, a pickup truck and a motorcycle were involved in an accident at Route 138 and King Philip Street. On Tuesday, August 25, Raynham Police and Fire announced the motorcyclist died as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash.  

Police and firefighters responded around 7:45 p.m. after finding the 37-year-old man lying on the ground with life-threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was riding a Suzuki motorcycle when it collided with a GMC Sierra pickup truck.

The rider was taken to Morton Hospital in Taunton before being airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, where he lost his life overnight. The truck driver stayed at the wreck site and has not been charged.

Raynham police and State Police detectives with the Bristol County District Attorney's Office continue to look into what led up to the wreck.
