North Reading, MA (July 17, 2026) – A person was pulled from a single-family home on Swan Pond Road after heavy smoke was seen coming from the rear of the house.

The North Reading Fire Department were called to the house and requested advanced life support be expedited for the person removed from inside. Crews knocked down the main body of the fire and then worked through the structure to check for remaining hot spots.
