Worker Injured in Boom Lift Incident on Rte 30 Bridge in Weston, MA

Weston, MA (August 22, 2026) – On Friday morning, August 21, emergency crews responded to an industrial accident involving a commercial boom lift. The incident occurred near the Route 30 (Commonwealth Avenue) ramp by Interstate 95 at approximately 7:55 a.m.

Preliminary information indicates a middle-aged male construction worker operating a boom lift apparently struck the underside of the Route 30 bridge structure.
