Saugus, MA (July 20, 2026) – On Sunday, July 19, a 77-year-old man was injured after a loose dog attacked him and his leashed dog on Lincoln Avenue near Morton Avenue in Saugus, according to emergency reports.

The incident occurred while the man was walking his dog when a loose pit bull mix reportedly approached and attacked both of them. The man suffered lacerations to his hand, while his dog sustained injuries, including wounds to the neck area.
