Head-On Rollover Traps Driver on Turnpike St in North Andover, MA

North Andover, MA (July 24, 2026) – A three-vehicle head-on wreck left one driver trapped inside a vehicle on Turnpike Street on Friday night, July 24. The crash was reported shortly after 8:00 p.m. near 1102 Turnpike Street. Two of the three vehicles rolled over.

North Andover Fire arrived within minutes and found one person trapped inside a vehicle. Responders worked to free the person before transporting them to Merrimack Health in Lawrence for treatment. Air medical transport was requested to a nearby landing zone, though the injured driver was ultimately taken by ground to the hospital.

Two other drivers involved in the crash were evaluated at the scene and declined further medical care. The extent of the hospitalized driver's injuries has not been released.

Further information about what led to the collision has not yet been made public. Emergency crews cleared the scene by around 9:00 p.m.
