Pedestrian Hurt in I-95 Crash in Boxford, MA

Boxford, MA (July 28, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously hurt Monday evening, July 27, after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 95 southbound in Boxford, Massachusetts state police said.

The crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. near mile marker 74. The person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

All southbound traffic was diverted at Exit 74 while emergency units worked to clear the highway. No further details about how the wreck occurred have been released.

State police continue to look into what led to the collision.
